Free. Yes that’s right, this is for you.

Unlike someone and the NBN, I’m giving this to you. I have been for a long time, frustrated, that only a few of my friends and collectors could afford the work I do. So, this is the first in a series of things I will give away. I’ll announce more in the coming weeks. I’m super excited about the other things I have got planned to give out. I am really, really excited that nearly anyone will be able to have my art.

So this is my first giveaway, all you have to do is right click on it and it’s yours to download print, share or just look at! If you want to turn it into a stencil all you need to do is print it on something and cut out the bits you want to spray in… Just be responsible with where you spray it! If you want to do a two tone stencil just ask in the comments section and I’ll explain more.

Feel free to add or subtract from it, just no commercial uses please… It’s under creative commons which you can check out below.

Last Post, Ignore it a little.

Damn, I posted up a photo of a big painting I was working on when it just wasn’t feeling right at all. And of course, it wasn’t. So I am back into it again. You might be able to see the shadow on the left hand side building has been lightened completely…Painting Unfinished

…:::Plein Air:::…

Plein AirPLein Air

Managed to get some rare plein air time in this morning, was a bit smoggy. The clouds were less intense than the light on the ground. And I met the bottle man, who if you look at the second picture places bottles in rows on the ground in the same spot and everynow and then either smashes or replaces them…And here was me thinking it was a VCA arts student doing it… Which seems more interesting than the painting itself!

5 million dollars, and the smug guy on the left

So 5 million dollars would be great yes? Well more on that in a second, I’ve just had a surprise exhibition dropped on me (softly) the install is this Sunday, down in Warrnambool, Victoria – Australia. SO I quickly got some little works framed up and they look great… The exhibition is in the new Maddens Lawyers foyer, brand new and I am the first person to exhibit there… 219 Koroit st. Warrnambool is the address, open 9 – 5 next week. Below are some of the smaller and larger works marked for the exhibition, prices will be up next week.

Now to the 5 million dollars, and the smug guy on the left. I could swear if you look at the picture of the two who managed to make off with Rembrandts, Vermeers and some -he looks like even in the police drawing that he is smiling a little… see the full story here.

smileyOh and the value of the paintings they stole, 500 million. If that isn’t inspiration to buy some paintings I don’t know what is.

A little one

Lately with the help of my friends I have been tramping around Melbourne and getting them to run amok… with a cardboard box on their head… Some are more adventurous than others and the result is sometimes… humorous…

A Sin, My Friend.

I can never quite get this painting to reproduce like it is. There are so many thin layers of paint over the sky that it seems to vibrate in your eyes… So I’ve added a few close up shots. This was intended for the Blake religious prize, yet it didn’t cut the rug and ended up in my studio instead… There seems to be a bit of fly droppings on one of the shots, please excuse!
